Questionnaire at the check in

Post by Panzergraf » 15 Jun 2011, 02:30

Inspired by EagleDiver's thread on armbands:
http://berget-events.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6655

Would it be a good idea if Berget Events had a questionnaire for players to fill out during check in?
Just to better gauge what most players want and find out how they could make the game even better next year.

One question could be if they should drop the armbands all together and just go with division by uniform.
Another could be if players generally want the game to be more milsim oriented or less, or stay the same.
Or if they should return to 2 heals before spawn.

When filling out these forms, players should also state if they are Poldavian or NAF, and how many games they have participated in earlier. Other than that they should be anonymous.

Why include that bit?
Well, I would imagine NAF players be more inclined to keep the armbands and rather loosen up the uniform restrictions, as they are sortof given the short end of the stick in that regard.
And seeing what veterans think VS what new players think would be kinda interesting :)

A questionnaire like this wouldn't be hard to put together, so even at just two weeks notice, Berget Events should be able to slap one together.

If you can think of any more questions the players should be asked, write them in a reply here.

I think the number of games shouldn't be a factor, if anything add the # years active in airsoft or something.

dutchwolf.
Berget would be more intressted to see how many players return each year. Thats the only reason to add that question.

and its a lot more behind that type of question.

I would suggest to issue an online questionnaire and email it to all the players who attend berget to get proper feedback after de game. This way you can do all sorts of analytics.
Issuing a form at check in before the game would just be a waste of paper in my opinion.

Yes, however if it attends most of the people.
Smacker: Asking player opinions will probably improve gaming and makes it more desireable, and that's really what giving feedback is all about, no :?:

IMHO
all armbands should be supplied by Berget Crew, and if someone has an armband from last Berget there should be an option not to get a new one at the registration
This way all armbands would be standard and same.
Number on armband is unnecessary...

NOTE!
We consider argues about people not takings hits as bad as the cheating itself. DO NOT, argue or curse other players if they are not taking hits. Talk to a game-master! Starting an argue can lead to a ban from the game.
(And remember: it is better to take one hit too many than one too few.)
remember to note the id number.

this is the only reason to have the armband id.

Without it you will not be allowed to play. So take some extras with you.

Something like Entry Card/Berget ticket? A peace of paper with your number name and etc. would do just fine.

And what if the person don't want to show you the "ticket"?
It is alot easier when you can look on the arm and there is the player id.
