Plastic boxes like those served by airlines on board. Some kind of meat and a side dish. Hot and solid.

In addition to (or instead of) the prepaid food you can always grab a decent burger+fries+soda for 7-10 Euro at the kiosk located at any base (prepaid food is also distributed through these kiosks for the food coupons received at check-in).
A riflescope reticle is also someone's point of view

It's actually quite good. It's served hot in a plastic 4x6 inch container. It is normally just one main dish with protein and carbs; meat & pasta or meat & rice, etc.

You don't have to worry about carrying euro or waiting to cook your own meal. I have personally received the meals and will always order them.

You're down in the players list as 3rd Mountaineers. Keep in mind that they will have their own base in the forest, separate from the main Poldavian base. So the prepaid supplied meals may not be delivered to the Mountaineers base and may well have to be collected from the main base. Plus, as your unit is a MILSIM unit, you may be out on an op when it's served at the base. So it may be cold when (if) you get it.
Best to think it through a little before paying for meals you may not have a chance to eat.

It's not the problem if it's gonna be cold (we are alway bringing our own food), but the problem is if this food is gonna wait for us?
If we are on the field till 10pm, and we come back, I would be more then happy to eat both lunch and dinner

It´s up to your commanders to make sure that the food will be available on late hours when the BE kiosk is closed. They usually store it at HQ. The problem that I´ve heard of is that the info haven´t reached all the players during the prior events.

Keep in mind that 3th mountaineers must be able to spent most of the time in the field so it's better to bring food with you so you can keep your bloodsugar constant.

but still, every year beret has informed through the forums how the food is being distributed. AND STILL after every year people nag about not knowing while they haven't been active on the forum or never even visited the forum.
so….though luck for them...

I mean sereously who would want to live on mre's for that entire time???
Just to get some of you guys into the picture here some of the meals; smoked salmon/trout with salad and oven potatos, Irish stew freschly prepared, nice cheese and ham omlette for breakfast and home made chilli con carne!!thank the lord that some wifes are willing to cook for uns anywhere^^
and a balanced diet is essential for maintaining moral and willingness to ecxell!
