i use the tacgear double puches. they are easy to use and have the awesome bundeswehr quickrelease close thingy. they look like these:
atm i use oberland gear open top pouches. after you modify the strings a bit they are really nice to use

I have 3-4 of Tactical Tailors G36 double mag pouches: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/Catalogue ... ID=3250046 ... Really good quality and design, although the buckle is a bit stiff.
I also use Combatkit double m4 mag pouches to hold single G36 mags. These I have on the front of my vest, since double pouches on the front make going prone a pain.
Oh, and since the G36 mags really are such a pain, I recommend getting a magwell adapter that allows you to use colt mags. Private parts and battleaxe magwell adapters have been really good so far, the socom gear ones were fradulously unusable.

Don't get one of those fugly M4 magwell adapters
I'm guessing you don't play in German Bundeswehr kit, otherwise it would be no problem finding room for the G36 mags.
Here are some good quality pouches that are available in solid colors, like tan and Ranger Green and such:
http://www.stratagem-taktik.de/MODULAR- ... c::39.html I have 5 of these in Ranger Green that I don't need anymore, if you want.
Other pouches too: http://www.stratagem-taktik.de/MODULAR- ... ::7_8.html Again, they are available in Tan, Ranger Green and Multicam, not just 5 and 3-color Flecktarn as pictured.
Lindnerhof has some good pouches too:
http://www.lindnerhof-taktik-shop.de/mo ... n.html?p=1 (site works poorly in Firefox, btw)
What Lindnerhof calls Steingrau is pretty much the same as Ranger Green. Multi is Multicam, and 5FBFT is 5-farb Flecktarn - normal woodland Flecktarn (3-farb is the desert kind).

dont go for the original bundeswehr cummerbund/ rig. i used it on last berget and it sucks. there is not sufficient space for pouches. thats why they give our guys in afghanistan molle vests.

Re: The perfect G36 magazine pouch
Old thread but having gone through a lot of brands that SAY that they fit g36 magazines (which of course they don't, because they are way too small and tight) the only brand I've come across where two g36 maga fit are magazine pouches from Viper.
