Company rosters

The company commanders will be building their own rosters, so the lists below are only team tags of players showing which company you belong in. The company names are still WIP, so they will change. If you see some errors, please post em up and ill sort em out.

The Swedish company is still without a company commander. If someone doesnt volunteer within the next few days, we will split the company up and put teams into other companies. Coy commanders and mech/ranger COs will post in this thread so you'll have their details and can contact them.

i can see a few Mechs ended up in like the norwegian company etc but they get to sort that out themselves....

A mere suggestion regarding the "Swedish company", even if I am sure that you have taken it under consideration. Rather than splitting the swedish company up and dividing those teams among the other companies, would it not be an alternativ to form "independent" swedish platoons directly under the BatCO? True, this would mean that the battalion would have to micromanage smaller units, but it would also provide the Bat. with an increased flexibility. These platoons could then work towards their own objectives (missions that does not require a company-size force) OR in support of the other companies.

Splitting the "swedish company" up is a prefectly understandable solution, but it would more or less force all other companies to use english as the spoken language (which I guess is one of the reasons for having companies based on nationalities?). Merging everyone into effectively three companies (not counting mech) could risk causing these to become more sluggish and difficult to manuveur. And as said earlier, three infantry companies along with 2-3 independent platoons could offer command the ability and flexibility to react to most of the different situations that might arise.

And if it would be made clear during the game that it doesn´t work, then there is always the option of attaching each of these platoons to the other companies.

Either way, Im sure that the decision made will be what is best for the team as a whole.

It is an option we're looking into, but having full companies is a better option than having a few smaller platoons managed by HQ.

Milsim.no are mec, not inf. With one or two exceptions. They will have to speak out for them self.

I would keeps the company command level, saves a lot of work for hq, who has enough to do anyway...
