Great addition to the game, and keepin a low count of them was a good thing in my opinion. Makes them really desirable and worth fighting for.

The supply points where a great additon! there should have been moore tactical points though, as last year like a raspawn that could be taken near enemy bases.

The SP's where in play all right. We took nightly drives all over the map and picked off the SP's at around 4am, got points for them straight away.

Yep, worked out really fine. Nice addition to the overall gameplay. More would be nice, but not too much, for more SP's would mean more to defend and loss of (sometimes) vital personell.
Wrong. Like MrMedic said. We had Dog Point SP almost every night in our possetion.Lex wrote:good idea, but i think it should be more then 2 points.

SPs were an excellent addition to Berget. Similar systems have been used in Finnish games for years with excellent experiences. They give players/teams definitive reasons to attack to certain points and also give a reason to hold certain points. This is very important, you need to have "reason to do" & "something to gain" in milsim to do things.
However, you also need to have a way to spend the gathered points or they should be countable and have an effect to the outcome of the game. This was very poorly done this year. Excess of points, no real way to utilize them.

Supply points were good and all but I have to say, that it made the game very videogamish at times. My point is that I would like it more, if the supply point would only be up for capturing once. This way it would be a lot more rewarding if you fought hard capturing a SP, and thus won the artilleries and rides for that day. I would also think it would be more realistic if the outcome of the fight for the SP would affect the situation permanently.
I would even suggest that the SPs would only be revealed through missions so they could not be known from the beginning. Thus making it impossible to capture points with just a squad, that has decided to spend the night in the woods.
Not sure if I'm making any sense but the point is.. the outcome of the battle should be very important. If something gets captured it won't come contested after that at least not the points.

That would mean, that we only have to blow up the satelite-dish once and not forth-time!!!Crusader^ wrote:Supply points were good and all but I have to say, that it made the game very videogamish at times.
